Serial Dramaturgy Workshop with Nicola Lusuardi

Six projects will get the opportunity to join this ‘Serial Dramaturgy Workshop’ with expert in serial storytelling and development Nicola Lusuardi. The two-day workshop is designed to help you refine the serial potential of your project, whether you’re a writer, producer, or both!

The ‘Serial Dramaturgy Workshop’ with Nicola Lusuardi offers a unique opportunity to explore and enhance the serial potential of your project at its earliest stage. This workshop is ideal for writers, producers, or teams with a project still in development - specifically those with a concept of 3 to 10 pages. Over the course of two days, Nicola Lusuardi, will help you refine your concept and develop it into a strong, sustainable serial narrative from his high expertise in the area.

Nicola brings over 30 years of experience in the television industry, having worked as a playwright, screenwriter, and script consultant for major Italian and European broadcasters. He has contributed to the development of high-profile international projects with The Apartment Pictures and Fremantle, including ‘Priscilla’ by Sofia Coppola, ‘The Hand of God’ by Paolo Sorrentino, and ‘My Brilliant Friend’ by Saverio Costanzo.

As Head of Content at Our Films, he continues to lead content development on global projects.
The workshop will include a mix of plenary sessions and one-on-one meetings, giving you the chance to learn collectively and receive tailored feedback on your project. Nicola will work closely with each participant to identify the unique strengths of their ideas and provide practical advice on how to develop them further.

Application process

Please send an email with a short CV to efteruddannelsen@filmskolen.dk along with a brief synopsis of the project you wish to work on by the 7th of March 2025 . The six selected participants will be offered the opportunity to bring one additional person from the project. They will also be asked to submit a more detailed project proposal of 3-10 pages. Both the proposal and the CV must be in English.
